  • What types of charters are available?
    We offer private charters starting at 2 hours for groups of up to 14 guests, depending on ​the specific choice of boat. You can discuss your options with us when booking.
  • What boats do you have?
    We have a fleet of ​late model sailing yachts and catamarans ranging in size from 33 feet to 41 feet.
  • Do I need a license to rent a boat?
    No, our charters include a licensed, commercial skipper.
  • Can I drive the boat?
    Yes, your skipper will gladly let you give him a hand at operating the boat.

  • Can I bring food and drinks?
    You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages, including alcohol. There is a small fridge on all our boats. We recommend you to bring only light snacks and not heavy food options.
  • Do you have a sound system on your boats?
    Yes, our boats have either a built in bluetooth sound system or a portable bluetooth soundbox.
  • When is the best time to sail?
    Israel is blessed with year round sailing weather, with only a few days where sailing is not appropriate due to strong winds and high seas. Boats can be booked starting from early morning and ending after sunset.
  • What if on the day of the booking the weather is not good?
    If your charter needs to be cancelled due to weather, we will work with you to find a convenient alternate date.
  • Can we go swimming?
    Yes​ you can, sea conditions permitting. The decision is at the sole discretion of the skipper and at your own risk.
  • What should I bring?
    Bring sunscreen, non-slip shoes, weather-appropriate clothing.
  • I have small kids. Can you provide life jackets for them?
    Life jackets are available on request.

  • What courses do you offer?
    We offer ASA 101 (Basic Keelboat), ASA 103 (Coastal Cruising), ASA 104 (Bareboat Chartering) and the Israeli 30 private skippers license.
  • Do I need prior experience to join?
    No prior experience is required for beginner courses.
  • Is there a maximum or minimum age for participating?
    Our courses are open to ​anyone from 16 onwards.
  • Where are the classes held?
    Classes are conducted both online, from our base in Herzliya Marina and of course on the water.
  • How long are the courses?
    Our courses range from between 1 week for an intense course and up to 3 months, depending on the level.
  • Is certification included?
    After successful completion of each ASA course, you will be granted an ASA certificate. After successful completion of the Israeli course you will be eligible for the Israeli skipper's license.
  • Do you have private lessons?
    Yes, private lessons are available. ​Please contact us for ​more information.
  • What happens if the weather is bad?
    Safety first​! Classes may be rescheduled or moved indoors for theory sessions​ if conditions are not favorable.
  • How long ​will it take ​for me to become a competent sailor?
    That all depends on the individual, but most students become confident in basic sailing after ​only a few weeks of lessons.
  • Are you a certified school?
    Yes, we are an ASA certified sailing academy ​as well as being recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Transport ​as a sailing school.
  • What’s included in the course?
    Tuition, course materials, certification fees, and use of a fully equipped training sailboat.
  • Are your certification​s and licenses internationally recognized?
    Yes, ASA certifications and the Israeli license are widely recognized for chartering and sailing worldwide.
  • What language are courses taught in?
    All courses are offered in English.
  • How are your sailing classes​ structured?
    Classes are a mix of theory and practical lessons, covering sailboat basics, navigation, and hands-on sailing.
  • How many participants are in a class?
    Groups are kept small, ​with a maximum of 4 ​students per course.
